Visual Schedules & Planners
Visual schedules give a visual explanation of what will happen. They are a sequence of pictures or symbols to show the order of upcoming events. Knowing what will happen, and what comes next, can provide a sense of security and predictability, and reduce anxiety.
Many children are more responsive to visual information than verbal instructions. A step-by-step visual plan helps children become more independent and can help them stay on-task.
Our visual schedule tool allows you to quickly pull together the individual components of common routines such as getting ready for school. It can also be used to give a broad overview of the day.
The filter function of our schedule groups common tasks. It includes morning, general day, learning and activities and sensory breaks. The sensory breaks section, curated by a paediatric occupational therapist, includes a series of physical activities that can help children calm down or re-energise, keeping them in balance.
Easy to use
Our visual schedule has easy to follow pictures, which can be read by very young children. You can easily switch the order of your schedule and allocate times for each activity. By pressing the play symbol, a visual timer starts and there is an alarm at the end.
Our visual schedule is designed to give your children a sense of confidence and predictability, and help your day run a little smoother.
